Overview
The original idea for the SPAIS Cadet formed in 2015 at a Starbucks parking lot. My business partner and I were discussing the need for a portable audio amplifier that wasn't bulky and could handle the power rating of a planar magnetic transducer. We searched for phone cases with this feature and couldn't find one in a form factor that made sense. Portable audio amplifier design hasn't progressed past boxy extruded aluminum enclosures from the 80's, yet phones have fit in your pocket since 2001.
Enter the SPAIS Cadet. In addition to the powerful audio playback, we decided that it would make sense to add battery life and storage. The three major components to this are power, amplification, and storage or as we trademarked it "PAS System." There are three flavors available in the SPAIS Cadet Series: the SPAIS Cadet II (power, amp, storage), the SPAIS Cadet I (power and storage), the SPAIS Cadet (power).
